Do you recommend that partners attend classes too?
Our classes are definitely great for support people! We are big on partner/support people involvement and teaching them how to be your best advocate, support person, and active/important participants in their child’s early days ✨ We see how partners behave in the birth suite and how they feel they don’t have a place, so we really try to help them find that place by immersing them in the experience! We believe positive birth is first and foremost achieved by being an active and informed participant in your care, not necessarily the where or how you birth 😍 That goes for ALL parents!
What are the benefits of doing either the weekend intensive or the five week course?
The feedback we have received is that the five week course is great if you’d like more time to digest information in bite sized pieces and make connections with your fellow participants. Otherwise, it’s completely personal preference which course you’d rather do!
When would you recommend signing up for classes?
We recommend you commence the five week course somewhere between 28 and 32 weeks to ensure you have time to complete the course prior to your estimated due date (as not all babes will hold on until “term”). If you’re looking to do the weekend course, anytime between 30 and 36 weeks is perfect.
Is is $195 per person, or per couple?
The class fee is $190 is per person. This covers the class, food and materials provided to you. We give the option to book that way as we have lots of solo parents attend our courses too and don’t want them to be financially disadvantaged by having to pay for a partner they don’t have.
What is the difference between the five week course and the weekend intensive?
Great question! The course content is exactly the same, just delivered in a slightly different format to ensure optimal retention of knowledge and flow of the class.
